Elizabeth Ogren has a masters degree in counseling and human development, and is a licensed professional counselor specializing in trauma, dissociation, and addiction recovery. Initially trained in Logotherapy,  Ms. Ogren has a deep belief in the essentiality of a sense of purpose and meaning as a part of healing and recovery.  Ms. Ogren brings a multi-modality approach to psychotherapy including DBR, EMDR, somatic experiential therapies, internal parts and states work, acupuncture, yoga and more.  And as a CSAT Ms. Ogren holds expertise in traumatic bonding and exploitation, betrayal trauma, sexual addiction and other attachment and intimacy disorders.  She has worked systemically as a victim advocate responder collaborating with first responders, in the drug court system with parents working toward recovery and family restoration, and with active duty and veteran military personnel.  And a particular passion is working within her LGBTQ+ community and with all who have experienced marginalization, to reach empowerment and true sense of self.  In addition to her clinical practice, Ms. Ogren has served in Clinical Director, Director of Family Services and other leadership roles in a variety of treatment settings.  Currently Ms. Ogren serves on the Advisory Board of the RAINBOW Program, and is a Faculty Member of the International Institute for Trauma & Addiction Professionals (IITAP).  Ms. Ogren teaches, speaks, and provides consultation in addition to offering psychotherapy and intensives in her private practice.
